Anti- inflammatory foods- what are they?

Anti inflammatory foods are simply anything you put in your body that causes inflammation. You might be surprised by the amounts of foods that actually do this to our systems. Here I will put a guide for the foods that might cause extra chaos to your body when you are in a “flare” up. I will add a reminder here to always show grace to yourself and your journey. I always listen to my body first. If I am feeling good and am craving one or more of the foods below I will 100% go for it and just be more mindful of my body and listen to how it responds in the days following. If I feel that my body is in “chaos” mode and needs some type of help, I am more likely to stay clear of all of them. That being said, just because one of these foods causes inflammation in my body, doesn’t mean it will cause inflammation in yours. A good way to see what effects you is to follow the Auto Immune Protocol Diet vey closely for a month or two. Once your body is detoxed, slowly start introducing some foods back in one at a time. Keep a log of how your body feels when you introduce a particular food. Take it slow and mindfully. Every body is unique. Listen to yours.
